Pursue Rewards Fold in the Last 10 Days of Ramadan
Privileges of the last 10 nights of Ramadan are explained in a hadith which reveals that based on the words of the Prophet Muhammad, in those days there were so many virtues, kindness, and rewards that Allah provided for His servants. One of the last 10 nights, Allah has prepared a truly special night, the Night of Laylat al-Qadr. The night was better than the other 1,000 months and became the night when the angels descended bringing grace from Allah SWT.
For that reason, it is not wrong if many people are competing to achieve all the goodness, glory and blessing of reward in the last 10 days of Ramadan. What should be done? Here are some good practices for you to copy.
1. More active and sincere in worship
In the last 10 days Ramadan was devoted to multiplying worship in general, be it prayer, dhikr, pray, or read the Qur'an. And it was dedicated to invite our families to worship together to bring a special night to life.
We also should be more active and serious in carrying out this worship. As did the Prophet Muhammad who is more serious in worship in the last 10 days of Ramadan.
2. Pray a lot
It is also desirable for us to pray a lot. Prophet Muhammad SAW was once asked by his wife, A'ishah, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I find out one night is Laylat al-Qadr. What should I say then? " So he answered, "Say:‘ Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul‘ afwa fa’fu anni ’(O Allah, you are truly forgiving who love apology, forgive me)." (HR. Tirmidhi, Shahih). Because during the Night of Laylat al-Qadr all our prayers were answered by Allah SWT, the Messenger of Allāh anjurkan suggested that we ask for forgiveness for our sins.
3. Don'tikaf at the mosque
Actually I'tikaf in the mosque can be done at any time, but in the month of Ramadan it should be more time more. Especially before the last 10 days of Ramadan. I'tikaf means staying in the mosque for some time with the intention of worshiping Allah. This Iikaika activity has also been exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. The Hadith of A'ishah radhiyallahu‘anha explains: "The Messenger of Allah always performed i'tikaf on the last ten days of Ramadan until Allah commended him" (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).
4. Increase the evening prayer
The most important practice of worship that we can do is do the obligatory prayer 5 times. Then proceed with the tarawih prayer in congregation and multiply other sunnah prayers. More importantly, if we add it at night, as the hadith says, "Whoever prays on the Night of Laylat al-Qadr because of faith and expects merit from Allah, then his past sins will be forgiven." (Narrated by Bukhari).
5. Be serious in achieving Night Laylat al-Qadar
At the end of the month of Ramadan, precisely in the last 10 (ten) nights there is the Night of Laylat al-Qadr, a night full of glory and blessing where the reward of worship of a Muslim will be multiplied. To get the double reward, we must worship seriously.
Even Allah SWT explains about the privilege tonight in the Koran Surah Al-Qadr, which means, "Verily, We sent it down (Al-Quran) on the night of glory, And do you know what night of glory is? The night of glory is better than a thousand months. "
Come on, we multiply worship in the last 10 days of Ramadan for the sake of reaching multiple rewards and get ready to welcome the Night of Laylat al-Qadr.
