Is Sin Also Double in Ramadhan?

Answer
Assalamu ‘alaikum wr. wb.

Dear Questioner, may Allah SWT send His mercy to us all. Ramadan is a glorious month. Worship in it is also worth a great reward, namely fasting, evening prayers, tadarus, alms sunnah, and other acts of worship.

God's mercy in the month of Ramadan is opened infinitely broad. Never mind the activities of worship, resting or sleeping fasting people considered worship in the month of Ramadan, especially fasting worship itself. The following hadith of the Imam Muslim history illustrates the vastness of Allah's grace in multiplying the good deeds of His servants.
It means, "From Abu Hurairah RA, he said, Rasulullah SAW said," All good deeds of human children will be multiplied by ten similar benefits up to 700 times. Allah Azza wa Jalla said, ‘Except for fasting. Fasting is mine. I will repay myself because he left lust and food for my sake. ' A person who fasts has two happiness, namely one happiness when breaking the fast and one other happiness when meeting his Lord. Truly the smell of his mouth is more fragrant in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk, '' (Muslim HR). In fact Allah is sufficiently forgiving and generous. Outside the month of Ramadan, His love and affection are so great towards His servants. God records a virtue for one's good intentions. But He will multiply those good intentions followed by one's charity as the implementation of that intention.

As for one's evil intentions, God does not record it as a crime. He just wrote a crime for someone who carried out his plans or evil intentions that were previously stored in the heart as the following Bukhari and Muslim history.
It means, "From Ibn Abbas RA, from Rasulullah SAW on what was narrated from Allah, he said,‘ Allah wrote good and evil. He then explained, anyone who thought of doing good and he had not done it, surely Allah recorded it as a perfect goodness. But if he thinks of doing good and he then does it, surely Allah records it as ten goodness which multiplies up to 700 to many multiples. However, if he thinks of committing a crime and he has not done it, surely Allah records it as a perfect good. But if he thinks of committing a crime and he then commits it, surely Allah records it as just a crime, '"(Bukhari and Muslim). As for the matter of doubling the record of sins for crimes committed in the month of Ramadan, we find his statement in the Hadith Shadrin's Hadith Riyadhus Shalihin following.

According to him, the act of retaliation for the crime of evil cannot be multiplied as the statement of Surah Al-An'am verse 160. A crime, according to him, will be rewarded with one reward. However, the multiplication of retaliation for crimes may occur due to a number of things, including because it was carried out in the noble months, including the month of Ramadan.
It means, "(But if he thinks of committing a crime and he later commits it, surely Allah records it as a crime only), in Ahmad's history it is said to be an additional 'and (that sin) is not multiplied.' Surah Al-An'am verse 160 shows this, '(Evil) A person is not rewarded except for the ones who are worth it.' However, that sin is also sometimes multiplied because of the majesty of time or place such as honorable months, Ramadan, or Mecca; or because of the culprit's glory and the power of the macrifate and his closeness to God. Because the defiance of a person against the authorities on the red carpet is greater than the level of defiance of someone from afar, "(See Ibn Alan As-Shiddiqi, Dalilul Falihin li Thuruqi Riyadhis Shalihin, [Beirut, Darul Kutub Al-Ilmiyyah: no year], juz I , page 77).

Apart from all of Allah's record of our deeds, we should take the opportunity to increase the goodness and stay away from all the prohibitions of Allah in the month of Ramadan, and in other glorious months. Thus our short answer. Hopefully it can be understood properly. We are always open in accepting criticism and suggestions from readers. Wallahul muwaffiq ila aqwathih tariq, Wassalamu 'alaikum wr. wb. (Alhafiz Kurniawan)
