This fact makes the Laylat al-Qadar night so glorious
Laylat al-Qadr night is a night in the month of Ramadan that is highly awaited by all Muslims throughout the world. On this night, Muslims are competing to get blessings from Allah SWT. What makes Tonight so glorious? Some of the following facts are the reasons.
1. Night of the Qur'an's coming down
Allah SWT says in the Qur'an Surah Al Qadr verse 1, "Verily, We sent it down (the Qur'an) on the night of glory."
As a night of remembrance of the holy book to Muslims, of course, make the Night Laylat al-Qadr full of blessings. In the book of Islamic Jurisprudence from H. Sulaiman Rasjid it is explained that whoever worships on the eve of the recitation of the Qur'an the reward will be multiplied by more than 29,500 fold.
2. A night better than a thousand months
In Surah Al Qadr verse 3, Allah says even, "The Night of Glory is better than a thousand months." Which means, so glorious Night Laylat al-Qadar that the reward of worship on that night is the same as worship continuously for more than a thousand months or for 83 years.
3. Night of the angels
As mentioned in Surah Al Qadr verse 4, on this night also descended angels who brought mercy to the earth. Including the Angel Gabriel with the permission of Allah to regulate all matters. Along with the descent of these angels, there are also many blessings and blessings that come to humanity. Especially those who dhikr, pray, and read the Koran in the Night of Laylat al-Qadr.
4. Forgiveness for those who turn on the night Laylat al-Qadr
The Prophet Muhammad SAW said, "Whoever performs prayers on the Night of Laylat al-Qadr because of faith and expects merit from Allah, his past sins will be forgiven." (Narrated by Bukhari no. 1901). Because the Night Laylat al-Qadr is so special, this night was made a secret by Allah SWT. So, we will never know when surely the night of Laylat al-Qadr will come.
However, the scholars explained that the night of Laylat al-Qadr was on one of the odd nights in the last 10 days of Ramadan. One of the traditions also explained that the Messenger of Allāh sangat was truly devoted to worshiping on the last 10 days of Ramadan. We can imitate the earnestness of the Messenger of Allah at that time to get the blessings of Laylat al-Qadr.
5. Night of annual destiny
An annual destiny is recorded on the Night of Laylat al-Qadr. Allah SWT said in the Qur'an Surah Ad Dukhan verse 4, "That night explained all the affairs that are full of wisdom."
This verse is explained by Ibn Kathir in his commentary which means that on the Night of Laylat al-Qadr there was a writing of human destiny for one year, including the fate of death and fortune.
Now, because the Night of Laylat al-Qadr is full of mysteries, we must be prepared to sincerely welcome it. So you can get prosperity and peace until the dawn.
