The cancellation of the pilgrimage occurred
The Ministry of Religion ensured pilgrims who failed to perform the pilgrimage this year due to the cancellation of departure could submit a refund, aka refund, for the funds for the pilgrimage that had already been repaid. The cancellation of the pilgrimage occurred because of the high pandemic corona virus or covid-19 in the world.
The Ministry of Religion Hajj Domestic Services Director Muhajirin Yanis said refunds could be made for pilgrims who would attend regular or special hajj pilgrimages. The main requirement is to submit a request for a refund to the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kankemenag) at the district / city level where the congregation registers.
"Pilgrims who cancel leaving this year, can submit applications for the repayment of the settlement payment," Muhajirin said in a written statement, Wednesday (3/6).
To submit the request, prospective pilgrims must prepare a number of supporting documents, such as original proof of payment of Hajj Travel Costs (Bipih). Then, attach a photocopy of the active savings book in the name of the pilgrims and show the original, a photocopy of the KTP and show the original, and a telephone number that can be contacted.
"The request for the congregation will then be verified and validated by the section head in charge of organizing the pilgrimage and umrah affairs at the Ministry of Religion in the regency / city," he said.
If the document is declared complete and valid, he continued, the section head will input the cancellation of the Bipih payment deposit in the Information System and Computerized Integrated Hajj (Siskohat) application. After that, the Head of the Ministry of Religion in the Regency / City submitted a request to cancel the deposit of the Bipih payment in writing and sent electronically to the Director of Domestic Hajj Services with a copy to the Head of the Ministry of Religion at the provincial level.
If it has been received, the Director of Domestic Hajj Services will confirm the cancellation of the pilgrimage payment in the Siskohat application. Then, the Director of Domestic Hajj Services will submit a written request for returning Bipih payments to the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH).
Next, a transfer of the refund of the Bipih paid deposit will be made to the pilgrimage account. Then, confirm the transfer of the refund of the repayment deposit in the Siskohat application.
"All these stages are expected to last for nine days," he said.
The details are two days at the Ministry of Religion in the regency / city and three days at the Directorate General of PHU. Then, two days at BPKH and two days the process of transferring from the recipient bank to the pilgrimage account.
"Although the payment is made, the congregation does not lose its status as a prospective pilgrims who will depart in 1442H / 2021M," he stressed.
While for pilgrims who die before the next pilgrimage departure period, the portion number will be delegated. Delegation of portions can be done to husband, wife, father, mother, biological children, or siblings who are appointed and / or agreed in writing by the family.
"Replacing the portion could be a pilgrimage of 1442H / 2021M as long as the Indonesian hajj quota is still available," he concluded.
